If I Have Hope

 I thought of you and you were  here
I dreamt of you and you were near
I closed my eyes and had no fear
I talked to you and knew you’d hear
I thought of all you’ve done for me
And just because I still can’t see
you standing there right next to me
you’re still right here to walk with me

 

  You are the hand I need to hold
  as I walk on, as I grow old
  You are the strength to get me through
  Without your love what would I do


I think of you and you’re right here


You’re always here to dry my tears


If I have hope, I have no fear


If I believe, then you’re right here






You always were so good to me

You helped to make a stronger me

You’re still right here to walk with me

You’re standing here right next to me




  You are the hand I need to hold

  As I walk on, as I grow old

  You are the strength to get me through

  Without your love what would I do  




 I think of you and you are here
